About the Role:
Ventia has partnered with Energy Queensland Limited (EQL) to provide distribution, maintenance, and construction services.
Servicing assets throughout the Regional QLD region, we are looking for experienced Glove & Barrier Live Linespeople to join our teams in either Rockhampton or Townsville, QLD. Successful applications will need to be flexible and willing to work on allocated rosters according to the project requirements.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Comply with all applicable health, safety and environmental laws, regulations, and statutory obligations.
- Ensure good tradesperson skills & responsibilities in carrying out Construction and maintenance work on Distribution Powerline Networks
- Ensure all relevant paperwork & data forms are completed as required.
- Be responsible, care & maintain all tools, plant & equipment
Qualifications
- Current QLD Electrical License
- Current QLD HR licence
- Construction White Card
- High Risk Work Licence to operate an EWP (greater than 11m)
- Glove and Barrier ticket
